Anxiety:

Trauma:

Are you working in the medical field and experiencing anxiety, depression, or even panic attacks due to the COVID-19 crisis or other job related stress? Even if you didn’t directly treat someone with the virus, the fear of being exposed or bringing it home to a loved one is enough to cause Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD or PTS).
In addition, if you have treated COVID-19 patients directly, you've experienced the additional trauma of watching patients die alone and all of the injustice surrounding lock-down restrictions. It’s possible that you've been feeling on-edge or irritable and you’re not even sure why.
If you are experiencing excessive worry, sadness, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, and are avoiding anything that reminds you of the trauma, contact me. I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) which doesn't re-expose you to the trauma; it helps you to process its impact. You can also opt to simply talk things through. It's totally up to you.
